The registered drug form of pinealon (tripeptide EDR) for climacteric syndrome. Documented clinical efficacy: Pineamine® vs placebo in multicentre double-blind RCT (Prilepskaya 2016) for neuro-vegetative and psycho-emotional manifestations of menopausal syndrome. Adjacent clinical observations: COVID-19-induced primary hypogonadism treated successfully with Pineamine (Yakovlev 2023). Other adjacent peptide IPH LGA shows protective properties against age-related androgen deficiency (Pochitaeva 2023). Pineamine shares molecular mechanism with pinealon — SOD1/GPX4/GSR gene regulation in hippocampus, prefrontal cortex cognitive rehabilitation. Epiphyseal peptide mesotherapy for skin moisture/elasticity (Korolkova 2017) — broader pineal-peptide dermatological use.
